Comments

Villain was super LAG with a huge range. I feel like my first mistake was not flat-calling pre-flop. I was a bit at a loss as to how to manage this hand once I got in it.

nice threebet, preflop. good sizing.
on the flop you are basically turning your hand into a bluff. because only hands that beat you call. it's also very small and looks weak. ok players will pick up on that. once you get called you have to shut down bc it's a really dry brd, top pair is most likely. it's a 3bet pot so you have to think what hands call your threebet? a lot of kings in his range.
that being said if you think he has tt here or 88 and is being stubborn, you have to be a lot bigger. like 1.15 on flop and then 3 on turn. which is probably all in. better to fold if called on flop.
